Is Thai and Lao wedding similar? Khmer wedding is totally different from Thai even though we have similar culture. Khmer wedding has tie knot ceromony, too but we do it differently. Lao culture is nice!

that nice! we also have the tying knot ceremony as well.. but ours is a little different.. its done couple days before the wedding which is the first part of the wedding.. the strings are tied by the grooms side of the family and guest.. most often the brides side does not come.. its more of welcoming the new bride into the family..
