  • @Lilcutegrl93 USM's awesome!

  • @maituub i was amazed too by her. its like listening to an elementry school student

  • Wow, I think I found the college I want to go to....

USM has Engish major and Media Writing for a minor - perfect for me

Plus there's a lot to do in Portland :)

  • the third h2o is water

  • this was cool. especially the can. except Oxygen is not flammable .

  • But the energy of the reaction causes a shock wave, this is because the reaction is so energetic that an uncontrolled expansion occurs. This is also known as an explosion.

  • the spontaneity of the rxn has nothing to do with how it implodes/explodes. Im just saying that when the 2 gases combust they'll turn into water which occupies a smaller volume.

  • Why would this implode? Oxygen and Hydrogen don't react spontaneously to form water, the reaction is one that requires energy to initiate and is very energetic once started.

  • what's the moral of this study ?

Don't build your own Oxyhydrogen generator ??

  • wouldnt the balloon with hydrogen and oxygen implode instead of explode?
