read a brief interview with desalvo a few years back - he said he just wasnt really interested in wrestling and never applied himself that much- defintely TOO big for the sport

He did wrestle very briefly in both the WWF and WCW, but he had a pretty nice run in Calgary's Stampede Wrestling (as "Stunning" Steve DiSalvo) for about a year. He was over as a pretty big heel there. But he wasn't even half the size he was in this match. Yikes!

VINCE DIDNT PICK THIS GUY UP BECAUSE HE HAD NO ATHLETICISM AND WAS TOTALLY STIFF-AS GOOD OF A JOBBER AS TOM "ROCKY"STONE WAS EVEN HE COULDNT MAKE THIS GUY LOOK GOOD-THOSE STIFF GUYS CAN REALLY HURT YOU AND OR END YOUR CAREER
