@notfragile33 cool, yeah Wiliamson can rip and even he admits he has a bizarre style of play. ..I GOTTA RIGHT, musta schooled thousands of would be thrashers !

@leonakita I felt the same way about James Williamson, the "regular guy" image and not as brutal as Ron, UNTIL I heard the original version of "I Gotta Right"-- is that not the MOST INSANE playing until 'thrash metal' came along? But then I found out he grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma, just down the road from me, before his family moved to Michigan, so he had a VERY 'normal' upbringing.

@notfragile33 agreed, other than Ron's preoccupation with Nazi motifs and the like, he was by far the most level headed of the bunch... a real regular guy...hell, just happy to finally be able to own a new car! Sadly he passed and smartly replaced by James Williamson. Strange how James fills the same void that Ron did both with his regular guy image, and on guitar. Granted, James isn't as brutal a player as Ron, but he can deliver, & did give us Kill City and fits nicely in the Stooges saga.

Ron's my hero--and the best part is, he's just a regular Midwestern guy!

You've got to be kidding. As an American, I'm so sick and tired of audiences trying to be part of the act. If I was in the audience I would have been relieved to be able to enjoy the performance without audience members trying to get noticed by Iggy or the cameras.
