Goodbye, old dog [HD]

Monty´s dog Garver had to be put to sleep in late 2007 because of stomach cancer..

I was at her house with my camera for another project, so we decided to make a little video the day before we went to the vet to remember him.

This is no high art and cut with a quarter hour of footage in bad lighting. I only had an afternoon to work with the material because she wanted to have the video on the same day. Call me a wuss, but I never had to cry so much working in front of my PC.

@Habufffff Garver had cancer and already was in serious pain when we filmed that. He just had a good day.

Just had to put down a dog I grew up with. She was 15 And I'm 14. This video made me think of all the good times I had with her, I miss her so much. Thank you for sharing. Can I ask, Where did you get this amazing music?

Cried so much at this... I will never forget my dog, put to sleep yesterday at only nine years old because of a possible tumor in his liver.

I know this was quite some time ago!

This video has completely broken my heart. There is no doubt how much he loved her, and, no doubt how much she loved him. Bless their hearts.  And bless your heart for doing this for a friend so that she can forever have Garver's memory. I am sorry for the loss of such a loyal and loving friend. It always hurts. They are forever etched in our hearts. Thank you for sharing this video. <3

I still can't believe that ANYONE would dislike this video. What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful dog that was so obviously loved and cared for! I only wish I could have had a friend do this for me when I was losing my old dogs. There's a white German shepherd at our animal shelter and I just wish I could go get her after seeing this video. Because of allergies and serious medical issues at the moment, I can't have any more house pets and don't believe in letting them run loose.

Nobody is ever a wuss for crying about a beloved pet. Whether it's your own or not. I feel there's nothing wrong with that. The video is lovely made....the bad lighting did not bother me at all!
