This video documents our first few days in Holland, May 3 and May 4. May 4 is Remembrance Day, and at 8 PM, there is a two minute silence observed through out the Netherlands. We were fortunate enough to be at The Dam in Amsterdam, where the Queen placed a wreath to remember all the fallen. The whole thing was quite moving. I love the Dutch people!

  • Nice Video, It Brought A Tear To My Eye, So Much Death, & For What?

  • Hi Albert.

What a good vid. Thank you for visiting our country. It's as important for us as it is for your family. Thanks to the visits of veterans and their families, the future generations will hear about their heroic stories and will give them the respect that the hero's of World War Two deserve!

    How's your father doing?

    From Holland,

    Brian
