Hague Mini Motion-cam Installation

I got a Hague MMC to go along with my Vixia Hf20! I used Final Cut Studio... Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro and audio included with the suite to make the video. I am adding this info here since YouTube contacted me about possible copyright violation on this audio... if you own it please just let me know how to link to where it can be bought or something. I'm a student filmmaker and more than happy to give credit where credit is due! =)

hey i need help i got canon vixia hfs20 and hague mini motion cam stabilizer and i also bought the correction plate. i have been trying to balance the camera for 2 days now can someone help me out. If someone can give me quick instructions

Congrats! Yeah very cool once you get it all balanced up! I think mine arrived in 3-4 days after I ordered it.

It works like a charm after I got it set up. It took some time to get the balance right the first time, but its easier now that I get the idea. The trick is, with the Canon HF20, get the small square balance correction plate. The CoG is not near the mount holes. I used only 1 of the larger weights. When I have the screen open the counterweight hinge is at about 45° off center to balance. Bad part is screen is like a sail with even a light wind blowing. Overall it is a lot of fun to work with.
