Francois Leroux ends Pat Lafontaine's career and then proceeds to pummel Rob Ray. This is probably the hardest hit I've ever seen. If you listen closely, you can hear the hit and also hear Lafontaine's body hit the ice.

The hit was clean, the fight was dirty. Leroux attempted to smash Good ole Ray's head off the ice at the end there. Dirty fighter.

It was shoulder to the head. There is an obvious height difference between the two which contributed to the area LaFontaine was hit; coupled with him not having his head up lead to him getting laid out.
