Carolina se presentará en septiembre del 2011 en Ucrania para participar en uno de los festivales más importantes de ese país. Se presentará en dos categorías con los tema Agonía y All By Myself, exito mundial de Celine Dion.

Perseverance and talent.

Carolina Soto was born in the planet's longest and southernmost country, the north of which is a desert, the center is south-tropical, and the south -- Patagonia -- is the land of glaciers, mountain rivers and virgin millennium-old forests. It is Chili! The sky there is lit up with multicolored sunsets. Out there, "the earth's heart is in your opened palms" (Viktor Jara). A land of which many dreamt when reading books about brave travelers sailing through the Magellan Straight and going around the Cape Horn -- situated so close by Antarctica -- in their vessels. There are no poisonous snakes in this country at all, but it boasts a multitude of islands, the most remote and mysterious of which is the Easter Island that strikes visitors with its stone statues -- the moai.

She is one of those who are called "the prodigy child" since their childhood, a wonder child of whom adults always expect something special. Such children come into this world with a special mission -- to amaze everyone around them with their talent. And Carolina has always been an amazement. And she still is to this very day.

A couple of years ago she shocked everyone by appearing in public after a not lengthy absence. She had changed beyond recognition. Instead of a sweet plump girl, taking wing onstage now was an elegant sexy singer. Not a single trace was left from the image of the former Carolina. And it was only the strong amazing voice, the sparkling eyes and the benevolent smile that persuaded the viewer: this was really her -- Carolina Soto!

She possesses a history of multiple victories in various song competitions and television projects. Yet the singer believes gaining victory over herself to be the greatest of all. "I suffered from bulimia for years", Carolina confessed in a TV interview. "This had brought much pain and solitude in my life". Perhaps this made her look at the world with mature eyes at a young age, but never has she lost the sense of humor which bailed her out in different situations of life along her journey to the heights of professional mastership.

Carolina believes winning the international musical festival in Spain (Tenerife) to be one of important milestones in her life.

Her native city, Rancagua, is now proud of her; she was awarded the Honorable Citizen title by her home city. And in 2006, she realized the project she pondered and dreamt about for a few years: the Carolina Soto United Academy of Music and Dance. Carolina perceives the establishment of this specialised studio school as a gift of heaven and as an important sign in her artistic career. She was truly happy: now she could help gifted young performers and they would not need to leave their home, heading for the capital city, in order to unveil their artistic talent.

Also, Carolina is very proud of her daughter. She devotes all her victories and achievements to her.
