In this video I go over some of the new features coming to Dropsnap, a dropbox sync application for Android. I also compare it to Sugarsync and Dropin.

  • You are incorrect, Dropbox will use your local network to transfer files if it detects its on the same WiFi network. Take a look at the Dropbox icon while its syncing. It will say (LAN) if its syncing over your local network.

  • @spinout113 Dropbox doesnt LAN sync with phones. Sorry.

  • I'd love to see this compared to Titanium Media Sync. Toss in imgur, yfrog, and a per-image post-to-twitter button would be awesome. Twitter: @DrMacinyasha

  • SugarSync has a 5GB free account - you don't need to pay for anything unless you need more space. So, it's better than Dropbox in that regard - 5GB > 2GB.

  • @archon810 when they have linux support, i'll probably agree
