AROVA Contemporary Ballet Promo 1

AROVA, founded in 2006 and based in Birmingham, Al, brings versitile dancers together with contemporary choreographers who are willing to take artistic risks and expand the accepted ballet vocabulary.

Named in memory of international ballerina Dame Sonia Arova, our Company celebrates her passion for excellence in the inception, presentation, and execution of dance.

The upcoming season "Detours: Sights and Sounds from an American Roadtrip" is October 2&3, 2008.

Amazing performance!

Its so frustrating cause i've injured my back while dancing its my fault cause i continued to strenuously practice through the night when i should of been letting my body rest and ended up putting too much strain on myself.I hate having to wait for it to heal before i can continue dancing.
