The idea that it was a few left wing intellectuals who theorised that the US was meddling in the election results is the most disingenuos comment I have ever had to endure. It displays a PROFOUND lack of understanding of the forces at work. Please - how pathetic.
Anyone with an OUNCE of intelligence knows that one hundred times MORE people turned up to the protests which restored the SHA - and it is a KNOWN FACT that this was a CIA led coup - retarded commentator at best.

he signed the hate crime bill!
now we can arrest whites for calling black folk the n word!
The CIA plan to destabilise Iran was, and is, a major long-term project, and any notion that a 'fresh face' in the White House will alter this is absurd. Obama has no impact on foreign (or domestic) policy. Any official stop of funding of these efforts will have little or no impact on operations. The CIA is adept at self-finance, both from arms & narco trafficking, and funding could just as easily come from the UK or Israel. I see no reason to give the US any benefit of the doubt..

I'm not saying they don't have or do have gripes in Iran. Iran and the US are very different nations with different histories. I'm saying the US government has a great history of meddling in Iran's internal politics for years. As far as I'm concerned the US government along with other western powers are still involved internally in trying to destabilize the Iranian government. These actions makes me very suspicious about these protests.
