08/09 - Wolves 5-1 Nottingham Forest

With Mick McCarthy boasting of a "secret weapon" to replace the badly injured George Elokobi, fans were left to speculate who this would be. Stephen Ward stepped up with a fine performance at left back, and 2 goals from Michael Kightly, aswell as goals from David Jones, Chris Iwelumo and an own goal by Wes Morgan lead to the biggest win of the season for Mick McCarthy's young side.

Forest Team: Smith, Chambers, Morgan, Breckin (capt), Perch, Tyson, Earnshaw, Cohen, Martin, Moussi, Bennett. SUBS: Wilson, McCleary, Cole, Thornhill, Roberts.

I'm a Forest fan and looking back it really was just that Wolves scored 3 pretty mint goals haha! Just looked at the team lineups and noticed Dale Roberts is the sub 'keeper. R.I.P. Dale.

Was at wolves that afternoon and we was mauled. Kightly was unreal. Such a shame we did not get him on loan earlier in the season. He said he wanted to come esewell :(. Oh well. Good luck wolves for the rest of the season!
