Oversight and regulation? I don't believe a word of the Fed Reserve without transparency. We are not moving in the right direction. If there was more transparency, like he promised, we would be ok. If I saw our NATIONAL debt drop, instead of soar, we might be ok. If we saw a government who let the FREE MARKET/Capitalism recorrect itself. That would be ok, but all we have is more government intervention (more borrowing money) and I don't see anything except the dollar bill being destroyed.

You have to distinguish between Bush's bail out program, which was a giveaway and did not work, and Obama's bail out which has far more oversight and regulation and is helping the economy to get back on track. The deregulation of banking and wall street that started with Reagan, and continued with fiscal conservatives Clinton and Bush caused the collapse of these financial institutions and left the country on the precipice of total economic failure. Obama has been moving us back from the edge.
