TBH's kin lodges report to compel probe on MACC trio

Teoh Beng Hock's family today lodged a police report to compel investigations on individuals implicated by the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the political aide's death.

Gobind Singh Deo, counsel for Teoh's family, said this is in response to de facto Law Minister Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz statement in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday.

Nazri's had said no criminal investigations were launched against three Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) implicated by the RCI because no police report was lodged.

Don't hoodwink the public just because you know law a little better. The fact is simple. A criminal case is different from a disciplinary case. Criminal case goes to the court. Disciplinary case as has been initiated is an internal departmental case. Why confuse the public with intent to treat a disciplinary case similar with a criminal case.

The police, the judiciary of the Islamic court has got no ultimate rights to decide, let alone being conducted in a biased manner, the family of the victims to be consulted and to receive assistance to the fullest extend included to non Muslims.
