Victoria and Albert perform the Waltz at the Coronation Ball.

In The Young Victoria, Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) delivers an incredibly compelling performance as Queen Victoria in the turbulent first years of her reign. Rupert Friend (Pride & Prejudice) portrays Prince Albert, the suitor who wins her heart and becomes her partner in one of historys greatest romances. This love story, set amongst all the intrigue of the court, also features Paul Bettany (Iron Man, The Da Vinci Code), Miranda Richardson (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Jim Broadbent (The Damned United, The Chronicles of Narnia), Thomas Kretschmann (Valkyrie), and Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes, Tristan & Isolde).

la primera parte de esta escena expresa de forma muy simple y certera el sentimiento que se estaba gestando. el hecho de que ella al entrar al salon lo ve y flotando llega a sus brazos para bailar por primera vez como reina. Hermoso.

Marvelous waltz arrenged from one of the best famous óperas and queen Victoria's favorite: L'elisir d' amore" composed by Gaetano Donizetti. It correspond to the beautiful cavatina " Della crudele Isotta" which, if in the opera is delicious, in this waltz sounds fantastic.... Greetings from México.

Es fascinante como cuidaron los pequeños detalles en esta película, como hablar el inglés con un fuertísimo acento alemán! De paso...leí que V & A hablaban alemán entre ellos. Hasta la tia Adelaide era alemana y habla el ingles con acento alemán en esta pelicula! y era una Sachsen - Meinigen y la madre de V. era una Sachsen - Coburg y tanto ellas como el padre de V. eran de la casa Hannover, todos parientes....nunca escucharon de las leyes de Mendel. Albert era un Sachsen - Coburg und Gotha.

Queen Victoria had fair hair - photography then recorded it as very dark , even painters used photographs to paint from.She was also very very small and about a foot shorter than this actress. You may say I am being picky but its the making everyone Barbie & Ken syndrome when movies dont get basics right
