To Wave or Not to Wave

Bikers talk a lot about waving at each other. Sport bikers whine about Harley riders not waving, and Harley riders complain about unfriendly sport bikers not waving. I offer a few comments.

Ha. That is funny. I have to watch that clip every now and then to see what people are freaking out about. In relative, Korean driving terms, that taxi missed me by a mile. I have closer shaves than that every day. I love/hate riding in Korea.. ha. Thanks for the sentimen t, but I've been taking it out on drivers who actually deserve it more than that taxi idiot.

Are you talking about the taxi whipping in front of me and jamming on the brakes? That is such a normal thing here in Korea that I had to watch that part 3 times to see what you could possibly be talking about. LIterally, this happens many times each day. Although it looks dangerous, it actually isn't because you EXPECT it to happen and are always prepared for it.

its not that sport bike riders are too cool...we are just so fast that we dont even see you fast enough to wave...its like picking up a hitch hiker in the dark...you dont know you sew them untill your to far to do anything about it...hahahahaha

I'm a sport biker and I wave at any bike I pass

Some days I get annoyed with cruisers not waving back so I just don't wave at them

@IBMVIds ....haha, i started to wave and realised it was a scooter so my hand kept on going up to readjust a chin strap that didn't need to be adjusted.

@IBMVIds I don't wave to the scooters, they cant drive...for example, the scooter at 2:19 in the middle if the intersection. Although, that is a different country...the scooters dont know how to drive here either. they are a danger to other motorcycles here too.(just like that one) it's cool and all when you know someone, or meet people to ride along with but when one of them pulls up beside you unexpectedly and almost wrecks your bike...that's not cool.

When I was a member of an auto club, I used to hit the horn couple of times to the other auto club members and they would reply back , its like a tradition. I drive a vintage volvo now, and when I pass another vintage volvo or side by side with them sometimes we wave hands, smiles etc on each other. To me its an appreciation, of course I wont expect anything back.

dude there are times we might see you do to some reason like trying to figure out WTF the idiot in front of you is doing...but i give the hang sign to everyone if i see them if they ride they get respect..keep riding dude
