This would've been a well done video if you just took the thingamajigger and put it at a 90 degree angle to the flux capacitator. I know, it's a blessing and a curse how smart I am.

@mlustig1 Does the spout pull out of the faucet. If so, you normally do not need to remove the spout. In that case you would just remove the handle to access the cartridge. Most pull out faucets have a ceramic disk cartridge.

This is a great video. But I have a problem. My kitchen faucet has an aerator with a hose, and I think the hose is preventing the hub assembly from coming off. And I can't get the hose out of the faucet. What do I do?

Excellent demonstration. Two thumbs up!!!

Thank you so much! All I had to do to repair my faucet was watch this video, remove everything, and then reset everything!

Saved me a Saturday plumbing call; very good instruction and even I was able to get this correct. Thanks.

4x3 video format.....nooobs!
If the spout is tight you will just have to put some muscle into it. It also helps to wiggle it back and forth as u are pulling. After u get it off put on new o rings and lube it.

Use a pair of adjustable pliers on the cap. You will probably end up scratching the finish on the cap but u can replace that if it is to bad
