The one thing I missed in assalt horizen was that their was no leval where you fly to the center of a super wepon and fly out as it blows up :(

The thing is with Ace Combat is that from game to game they rarely change (except AH which is fucking awesome). But it has something that the player experiences from game to game and that's passion. The music and story are huge factors in the franchise, if the last level never had this then it would have been just another level.
The main thing I remember from all Ace Combat games the most is the final level music.
