I took my handheld camera deer hunting on 23NOV2008. While I didn't see any deer, I was simply awed by the fact that I was 30 feet above the ground when a large female emerged from a previously unknown den. By the time I could grab the camera, the female had moved beyond my field of view. However, two of three youngsters ran, play-fought, and climbed a tree nearby my position. This was the first time I had seen the native bobcat, known by all as the Kentucky Wildcat, in their natural setting. Sorry for the shaky quality. I never expected to capture something this spontaneous on a very cold morning.
