Amon Amarth - The Pursuit Of Vikings (Cover)

This is my attempt to make a death metal cover. The song is by Amon Amarth and it's called The Pursuit of Vikings. I like this song from the guitar point of view but since I'm not really into those heavy vocals I decided to play it using a backing track.

I created the backing track from the Guitar Pro tab which is available on UG - it has been submitted by an unknown author. I played the guitar part on an Ibanez RG321 plugged into a Hughes & Kettner ATS 120 with a preceding Boss Metal Zone pedal. To record it I used a Logitech microphone.

I apologize for the sloppiness, I wasn't able to play this without mistakes xD And I'm sorry for pitching this up 5 semitones. If I had tuned my guitar down there wouldn't have been any tension on the strings.

Well, I'd like to be able to play this, but my amp sucks, i got a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 but i cant make it sound like this, what are ur settings on it? and ur amp settings?

@xxEyelessificationxx Ich glaub ich habs in Standard-Tuning gespielt. Müsste aber eigentlich tiefer ;)
