@ddffghij yeah all these factors i feel really held charmed back. I love the show and a loyal fan, but was really disappointed by the time it ended. As we said, 5-8 had the seasonal storyline was the worst of it. I can understand with season 5 and piper having wyatt is an expect and understandable storyline, the rest was really drawn out to say the least in my opinion. our other speculation (including brad)just an educated guess at best but added to charmed's decline.

@lawandorderking yeah i think so too and it's sad... im not gonna say brad kern distroyed some of the good stuff in the show after constance m. burge left, and he took over as producer but one of your theories that i agree on 100 % is that season 5-8 really did have seasonal storylines in stead of the "demon of the week" stuff

@ddffghij yeah i think that's part of it as well i just saw this post a few minutes ago and replied to TSENIO who initially posted that first. take a look at my alternative theories as well. Some of my theories were a result from constance m. burge left the head producer post after season 2 and was a consultant for seasons 3&4.

@Tsenio i have a couple theories 1. part of it is because shannon left and i felt that it does have less action possibly because maybe shannon made sure the script was good/prue i liked. 2. when rose joined, it was more personal subjects rather on the story at hand sisters being witches vs demons/evil & juggling that in their lives. 3. in seasons 5-8 it's more of a seasonal story line rather than "monster of the week" stuff which brought it down. if u wanna talk more about it, email me.
