I live in the UK America's staunchest ally and cultural cousin. We have government run health care and many socialist programs but we are not living in a Stalinist regime and London is the second most powerful free market after Wall Street.

Looking after the poor and taxing the rich does not a tyranny make!

I would worry about Christian fundamentalist candidates like Palin who want more guns less taxes, more war and and openly supports the likes of out and out racists like Laura Schlessinger.

You misrepresenting the facts. Government health care does not abolish private health care it just gives those who can't afford to pay an affordable option. Regulating banks and a minor raise in tax for the richest 2% is just a way of balancing the books and policing the people who crashed the economy. You fools make out that taxing BP and Koch Industries and giving health care to the poor is fascism but you didn't make a squeak when Bush used torture and warrantless wire tapping.
