This week on Ecorazzi's Good Gossip, find out who Ryan Gosling brought on late night television, what animal is named after Betty White, and what reality show Michelle Obama's gonna be on.

Hi, I'm Whitney Lauritsen and welcome to the first episode of Ecorazzi's Good Gossip, where you can get the scoop without feeling guilty.

Ryan Gosling recently brought his dog George on Late Night with Jimmy Fallen.
If dogs are supposed to look like their owner, Ryan might just need a cuter dog.

[Jimmy Fallen: What kind of dog is he?
Ryan Gosling: He's some kind of muppet.
Jimmy Fallen: He is a muppet. He's really cute. Aww... they're not laughing at you, they're laughing with you.]

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has donated 50 million dollars to the Sierra Club's "Beyond Coal" campaign, making it his largest donation to a green cause up to date.
On the other hand, the Koch family has donated 55 million to keep oil and coal burning.
Mr. Bloomberg! 60 million?! 60 million for the environment?! Going once, going twice!

Michelle Obama is scheduled to appear on "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" where she'll be building green houses for female veterans.
I don't know about you, but I am crossing my fingers that she gonna do some organic gardening. Please!

Atlanta's Georgia aquarium named their new dolphin Betty after actress and 14 year aquarium supporter Betty White.
I wonder if she kept donating for a few more years if they would name a shark after her.
Betty the Great White shark.. huh?

Swim Week Miami debuted the world's first compostable bathing suit. The designer said it will not dissolve while you're swimming. All you have to do is bury it when you're done and, within about six months, it'll become dirt.
Perfect for those surprised pool visitors and growing herbs in your dresser drawer.

The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, a.k.a. PETA, are working hard to shut down a boxing kangaroo show in Florida. Where kangaroos are forced to fight humans.
Haven't we learned our lesson yet? Kangaroos and show biz just don't mix, for a number of reasons.
