Edward and Bella - Under My Skin

This video is more about the lyrics than the actuall video, which is why I put the lyrics in the video.
When I heard this song after reading the Twilight saga and seeing the movie, I was AMAZED at how this song fits to the story. The lyrics are perfect.
Here's a short little analysis that I just can't help myself from put up. LOL =D

"Shadowed days come to haunt me here, to wrap around me...Dark and cold, to hide the sunlight from my eyes..."
This reminds me of the way that Bella feels when she moves to Forks. "I'd already said my goodbyes to the sun." [pg. 5]
Basically her whole outlook on her new home is pretty bad until she meets Edward.

"Under my skin, under these scars..."
In Twilight, there's a lot of stuff that has to do about Edward's skin. Yes, it sounds cheesy, but think about it. When Bella first touches his skin, it makes her want to know more about him. Jacob describes the vampires as "The Cold Ones". There are many refrences to his cold skin in the book, like: "...the chill of his touch sent a natural warning..." [pg. 275] and "...his cold lips pressed against my skin." [pg. 456]

"'Cause I wanna see everything you are, 'till all that's left is not myself..."
Bella is fascinated by Edward from the very first moment she sees him in the cafeteria. She feels strangely drawn to him, and she ends up learning the truth from Jacob. Once they finally give in to their feelings about one another, it's hard for them to be apart. She longs to be with him, not alone with herself.

"This is life. Every second here, gripping tighter."
Bella is human. Edward is a vampire. That's the way it is. [for now. LOL] She mentions in the movie that "I'm dying already. Every second I get closer." Which is what I'm reminded of during that lyric. She dreams of being with Edward forever, but she knows that as a human, she'll get older, and he won't.

"Take away everything. Burn away all of me."
Bella doesn't care about anything but Edward, and vice versa. In the film Edward says, "You are my life now." And it is mentioned several times in the saga that Bella is his purpose for existing.
Obviously, "burn away all of me" just reminds us of the only way to kill a vampire: tear them apart and burn the pieces.
So this lyric is basically translated to: "If you take away my purpose for existence [Bella], then take me too."

"As I break, I believe, you will come to rescue..."
When Bella goes to the studio, she knows that she is going to die. Even though she never actually died, she was "broken". And of course, Edward came to her rescue.

I just thought that this song was PERFECT for their story. There you have it!
