removing foreign object from the ear

This is my 6yr old daughters ear. She had been in pain for more than 3 weeks. We did everything we could to ease her pain and finally candling revealed she had a small flax seed fused to the side of her ear wall. She really enjoyed having this part done.

How does candling reveal anything? You know that if you burn those without sticking it up to an ear canal it still makes "ear wax debris" form at the base of the candle?

@Dachiakai yes, there is a difference between the was from the candles and the was from your ears. they are 2 totally different colors and when doing the ear you have to do it in a very specific way and for a specific time to not allow the wax from the candle to go into the ear.

How in the world did she get a flax seed in her ear?

she was raining them down on her head one day and one must have slipped in. I make hot/cold packs with them so i have a pale of flax seeds

Aww. Poor nipper. I once stuffed a Kinder Egg toy into my ear when i was about 4. Kinda foolish on reflection but fun as hell then.
