  • When you are worgin on dominate chords , in this case C7 you can use a dim scale of Db

  • @ccrstucook Yes C dim scale, half step / whole step

  • purchase a flatter fretboard for this stuff

  • @Guitarlots what do you mean?

  • Nice ideas! :)

  • @stephlucarelli Sure but I dont speak very well english I have another scales but I dnt no the names on English , here In Mexico a "Tonal Escala Dominante" in C , another scale the mylodyan mode whit a 9 bemol , in this case Db whit a 11alt like a blues scale in D Sorry if ou don understand me but my English isnt very well

  • @stephlucarelli no prob dude, ditch the fender-get humbuckers and a jackson soloist. you'll never go back to playin that two by four

  • @DeadHappyFilm absolutely you are wrong. study a lot

  • There is absolutely no musical motifs in this ... it is all scale and a little chromatic ... this is not musical language ... this will not get you gigs ... learn songs instead ... and embellish on the original solo ... leave the fusion to Frank Gambale and Scott Henderson
