Hey, thanks for the nice words :)

Don't worry, I'll finish it... unfortunately due to other things getting in the way it's taking longer than expected :(

Work on it will restart soon, and currently missing things like sound fx (partly done) and color will be added.

A playable preview will be released shortly after..

It's from youtube's own music library, and it's called 'Heroes Return' by Musicshake (even the title fits nicely!)

Like the atari8 version, it's based on the bbc b version.

I'm working on it. There's still some things missing like sound, color, etc, but it will be finished

What are you talking about? The C64 had a 320x200 Hi-Res Screen and a 160x200 Med-Res (but with more colours) screen, so clearly it's just using the Hi-Res screen (See C64 Night Shade as just one of many examples).

Please don't make statements when you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Gosh, I can`t believe it !! Even as true C64 fan I completely loved playing the game on ZX Spectrum, spending hundreds of hours with it. In our Czech magazine BIT (ca.1992) there was written an article that the version for C64 is being made. Since this time I have been praying for that, If you believe it or not ! Great job, I can`t stand waiting for the final release ! Keep it original as far as possible ! See you at Forever 8-bit Party next year !

This is NOT running on a C64!!! The pixels are the wrong shape! This is DEFO the spectrum version
