I'm mainly just uploading this for use on my blog, but comment if you care to I guess. This was a video used in a class project recently at the University for Communications 205. Our group did a role play where we were Taco Bell executives trying to solve a PR crisis that came as a response to this news flash, which we made ourselves and showed at the beginning of our class presentation (aka acted out "board meeting"). This is based on the actual Taco Bell PR crisis in September 2000, when Taco Bell licensed its name to Kraft so that Kraft could produce Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Shells, only to lace them with a dangerous breed of genetically modified corn. By the time it was discovered and recalled, despite having no relation to the Tacos used in Taco Bell restaurants, sales plummeted. The clip is mainly designed to make of the sensationalist Fox News channel.
Still love this one . . .
