@innercitymixtape It's probably because countless children have been sung this by there mother as they grew up through childhood, so they associate this song with those moments? For me, this is a joyous song.

My girlfriend used to sing this to me, it was such a comfort. I wish things were back the way they were. She left me on our anniversary, the day I was to ask her to marry me. I guess the songs come full circle, aye?
