@kyo717 Well of course. It's a business and the goal IS to make money so personally I don't really hold that against them. Some companies maybe can afford to either make their products high quality for a low cost and also sell at a cheap price, other companies maybe can't afford to make their products for a cheap price and have to sell higher for profits. Some are obviously just greedy like you said. Lots of factors can play into it. I don't know these companies but it seems reasonable to me.

@S3raphyx Sometimes it's the principle and not money that's the problem. Every company is trying to make a quick buck anyway possible. Futurepress recently released a strategy that even has more pages, much higher quality paper and hardcover, and amazing in-depth guide but they only charged 24 bucks vs ff13-2 35 bucks for their guide.

Some people actually like buying higher quality products. I don't really see any issue with paying 10 dollars for just a hardcover version, the paper being a better quality is a bonus. Books are exactly the same. Hardcover novels cost slightly more than their paperback versions.
