We pray for him because, without the scientific First Cause which allows those technologies and sciences to exist, there would BE no cancer treatment. I understand the concept that there may be no god, but I'm convinced that He exists simply because of the cause and effect nature of the universe. Coupled with the circumstances around and the historical fact of Jesus of Nazareth's life, it is hard to suggest otherwise =)

Wow reading your initial blog post "The 411" was like reading a page out of my own story. I'm 26 and was recently diagnosed with the same kind of tumor, Anaplastic oligodendroglioma. I start radiation and chemo in four days. Thank you for posting throughout your experience. Its good to have some idea of what I can expect moving forward. I too have experienced God's awesome mercy and provision through this experience even thus far and have been filled with His joy. I'll be praying for you!

What a powerful testimony of faith in God. This scripture comes to mind as I listen:

Hab 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,  though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Definately praying for Matt. The Lord is Sovereign and can use all things for His glory. And I praise Him for that. But, at the same time, my heart breakes for Matt...radiation and chemo are carcinogenic, they do so much more harm than good. There's a better way. I plead with anyone reading this to look up "Gerson Therapy", "Food Matters", and "Dying to Have Known" on youtube and google video. It may help save a loved one's life.
