Backpod: The Idea

To examine issues affecting Central America, Backpod will act as a global lens by documenting the work of non-profit organizations that serve populations across the region.

As skilled designers, filmmakers, photographers, journalists, and travelers, we will venture through Central America with only our packs and cameras. We will backpack to each partner organizations' location, where we will work to fully understand the work of the organization and document the experience. We hope to encourage a global mindset in our audience and ourselves. We will highlight the topics that are of importance to our partner organization, presenting the information in an honest and real way for our viewers.
