A very rare, old video of "Death Don't Have No Mercy" performed by Rev. Gary Davis. Probably one of the darkest blues songs ever written. Parts of this clip were included in the documentary 'It Might Get Loud". Any information about where and when this video was filmed, would be greatly appreciated.

In "The Mayor of McDougal Street", Dave Van Ronk talked about Rev. Davis sometimes having an odd sense of intonation (usually a bass string tuned flat). This is the first time I've really heard it; makes the sound even spookier.
