The Future of NASA

The Future of NASA is a picture slideshow of kids working in various roles that are needed to send humans to the moon and beyond. The kids voices, combined with music, tell the inspirational story of how they will contribute to this next giant leap for mankind.

Although they may work on trajectories, structures, hypersonic fluid flow, rocket engines, robots, or space suits during the day, the co-ops at NASA are more than just engineers. They are more than mere nerds. They are ambassadors to their generation for NASA. They can sing. They can dance. They can even rap (OK, not really). These videos were made by the co-ops at NASA on their own time, with their own resources. They care deeply about America's space program, and they want to help you get more involved with NASA's activities.

@apacheaviator1 How is ending the shuttle the demise of NASA. Apollo ended, was that the demise to NASA? Nope, the shuttle came along and started the new mission to complete the ISS. The ISS is near complete and now NASA want to invest into private companies to do the role of the shuttle for much cheaper cost so they can focus on going deeper into space.

The final suttle launch is a sad day for America. I never thought I'd watch man land on the moon as a little boy and still live to see the demise of NASA. A few years ago that would have been inconceivable. Experts say Americans vote one issue. That issue that’s most important for them personally. For Republicans it’s abortion or lower taxes for the rich. For intelligent people it’s education. From this moment forward for me it’ll be the space program. We owe it to our children.
