I would much prefer thermography. Much safer, more comfortable and more accurate.

It was painful for me! The technician asked me to hold my breath, no problem because I couldn't breathe!

Great video Lana! It might be unpleasant, but the results definitely pay off in the end with early prevention. Keep spreading the word - you're doing an amazing job!

Thank You soo soo much for posting this! Before I moved my best friend and I would do this icky womanly things together, and treat ourselves to lunch and margaritas afterwords. My mother had breast cancer youger than I am today that ended in a double masectomy. Its been out of sight out of mind and I really need to do it, but since I was diagnosed with a rare blood disease and have been off of work for a couple of months, been in a fog...but your video's have been a huge pick me up! xo

I'm so glad you made this! It was really cool to see the machine and everything. I'm only 18, so I have a while before I go have one done, but I've always been curious about the whole mammogram process. haha :)

@you2berules I agree! The fear of the unknown is the biggest fear of all.
I just hope there is a cure for ALL cancers soon. Stay Fabulous! xox

Hi Lana. It has been so long since I have had a moment to watch any videos, but finally today after months I have taken the time. Question & I know this is TMI...for those that have breast implants behind the muscle,is it possible, can it damage and are the results still inconclusive. I would feel like telling someone to google, but there are a million answers online. I am 35 and my grandma passed at 59 of BC after being told she had allergies for 1 yr. I am so nervous about the procedure.

@macface2adore I just got off the phone with my super-smart brother who is a anesthesiologist and asked him your question. He told me that there is a screening method using MRI that you lie face down using resonance imaging and they can see perfectly what is going on and another that uses a dye to help detect anything going on in front of and behind the muscle.
I truly hope this helps. Get screened because I for one want you here a very long time. Smooches ❤
