Ghostly Ghost Grey Garden

Greyfriars Garden on the site of the old Christ Church. A mostly made up legend about the grey lady who haunts the garden at night - though there is anecdotal evidence that ghost ladies have been seen there! The sun is shining on me in a bad way so I am all squinty and confused.

Queen Isabella was married to Edward II - who, according to some accounts, she had murdered in a rather unpleasant way (look it up - it's not pretty) - so you can see how she might be a bloodthirsty sort of ghost.

I do like a good ghost story... but I subscribe to the typical Scooby Doo scenario that ghosts usually have more mundane and earthly explanations. I did stay overnight in spooky looking Woodchester mansion once but the only cold chills I felt were caused by the lack of glazing. I'd like to spot the headless horseman in Prestbury this Haloween.. Maybe you could do a haunted house video for us next week? You could take Ollie, some pesky kids and a Great Dane for moral support.
