We aren't taking your right away to go to church or believe what you believe. We just want to get married! Religion is a personal thing, so is marriage. I don't like religion, so I don't get involved with it. Same thing with gay marraige, if you don't like it, don't get one. It's not fair to take away someones right to marry the one they love.

Religious freedom is freedom to believe FOR YOURSELF, not for everybody else. Some Churches, Synagogues and Temples celebrate same-sex marriage. Some people are agnostics or atheists or interfaith. So if two people of the same sex want to get married and that falls into their own religious beliefs or morals they should be able to get married. IF WE UPHELD RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. Our government should not be defining religious relationships nor kinship on religious grounds. Hitler already did it.

If what you bring are parallelisms between non discrimination of gays and non discrimination of Blacks in Church, re-think:
I'm a Jewish man. If I want to marry a Catholic woman at her Church first I'd have to convert to Catholicism. Catholics have the right to set their rules on intermarriage just like another religion has the right to celebrate same-sex marriage.
Since at my synagogue we celebrate all marriages between two consenting adults, Prop. 8 infringed on my religious rights.

Vote to keep illegals & their anchor babies from getting welfare & food stamps & taxpayer services
Vote to stop anchor status

no on prop 8 has nothing to do with religious rights.
in fact, it is about separation of church and state! gay marriage will not infringe on religious beliefs at all. it will just coexist with everything else, and if a church doesnt want to hold a gay marriage, then that is their choice

We don;t give a fuck about your radical religious views! people like you give good hearted, nice, god believers(christians catholic, mormon, etc) a very bad name!

I guess I just disagree with what she's saying my charming RenewableFuel. What is the 'religious right to traditional marriage'? This woman's church does not own exclusive rights to marriage. Deal with it.
-
That's because you're too dumb.
Wait wait wait, WHAT? Where does it say anything about banning straight marriage? Prop 8's failure wouldn't have done shit to religious freedom.

Legalizing gay marriage isn't going to illegalize "traditional" marriage.
Effects of gay marriage:
Gays marry: 100%
Baby Jesus cries: 0%
Het marriage denied: 0%
