  • Best of British !

  • agreed wildman...just took an american to put the finishing touches on it. all american ac cobra people know the origin.

  • i bought it complete. the builder paid $11K for the kit and then had it painted $7K and drivetrain built. i am not sure what had in it, but you can build them for less than $25 complete if you do most of the work. it cost to have to farm out the work.

paint and body work is what cost to have it done right. the car needs some messaging to get the fits right. as far as motor and trans...you can spend all the money you want on that. the builder i bought from used all new parts. no donor!

  • sorry, but i would rather have a cobre even if its a replica (a good replica of course) over any vette, any time.

  • i tend to agree. wanna buy a perfect old vette?

  • can you keep the tires from spinning out to reach 60 that quickly?? My dad just built himself a Kirkham 427 replica with a Keith Craft 600bhp 628ft/trq stroked 427 and I don't think you can push the throttle half way down without peeling out!

  • i had 351W. pretty much off the shelf edelbrock set up they sell. 425 hp. very streetable. you can over do and this car is not. perfect balance of power to streetability. you can spin it or hook it up depending on your skill. great car.

  • @gggromay I agree! As much as I love 'Vettes, I'll take a Cobra anytime! The only 'Vette that might still TRUMP the Cobra is the '63 Corvette Grand Sport replica from Superformance. Either way...'Vette or Cobra...I'll choose Superformance.

  • It was meant as a positive statement about your very clean car not a negative one.

  • wow!!! and i am not trying to get into your business, but how much did it cost to build that? that is the nicest replica i have seen.

  • jajaja, good luck! hope your next cobra is even more incredible.

  • my dad has a superformance cobra with under-car exhaust, 351w, and he had it dynoed at about 400 hp and ft/lbs...its totally the way to go its so well balanced but it still sucks you into the seat.
