@surasamuel88 No, maths equations don't really come into it, the company that makes this show gives away tens of thousands of pounds in prize money every week for the sake of a silly game show, "the banker"s job is to play clever offers and try making sure the contestant goes away with the minimum, you know, like minimizing the damage. To be fair lots of people would've walked away if he'd offered £80,000... then if it turns out they had the £250,000 then the banker has just saved £170,000

@AhYaOk No you ain't, because the 101k ain't yours until you make a decision. You're losing nothing, the worst thing that happens is you get 20k for free, tax free. (This is the amateur psychologist coming out in me) - you're one of those people that will do pretty well in life, but you'll never make it to the top because you don't have the bottle to take the leap of faith when you're almost at the top ^_^
