ORILLIA - Months of preparation and a flurry of last-minute legwork have left the city well positioned to host the Olympic torch relay when it arrives in Orillia on Dec. 30, officials say.Right now, I am getting e-mails just about every day to make sure everything is set, said Paul Barnetson, marketing coordinator for the parks and recreation department. There is a lot of labour intensive stuff behind the scenes. It has been very interesting.http://www.orilliapacket.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2239630

This is horrible --- nothing but coporate advertising... Vancouver does not even want the Olympics because it is not about sport it is only corporate advertising. The people of Chicago were smarter they voted against having the olympics there... what kind of a world are we leaving to our children and grandchildren..????
