@sylvanro Hi, me again. Yeah, right at 19:15 you can see the water tower. The film is shot at that point looking south and you can see the Horseheaven Hills in the background. The street goes completely around the water tower at that point, and the vantage point is at the NE corner of that circular drive. Very cool!

Yes, sorry to say that Grandview is not a very nice town now. It has really fallen on hard times.
-
yah i read it, i was just saying.

If you look at my post (and actually read it), I was objecting to his use of "always." When I grew up in Gview there was NONE of that.
-
well i live in Prosser, and i go over to grandview ALL THE TIME!!! and there is ALOT of gang violence there.
-
Wrong! NOT always. I grew up there and there was none of that....
-
well grandview has been known for its gang violence always
I think it is near a water tower. I don't remember much about Grandview since I was so young. I don't even know if the Pastime is still there. My sister eventually had the Brunswick in Toppenish but recently sold it.

Who are these kids, and what are some of their last names? When was this film made--looks like 40s or early 50s

It was taken in about 1951. The baby in diapers is me. There is also some footage from about 1955 when I'm about four years old. The other boy is my brother Roger. The girl is my sister Darlene. The adults are my mom Nellie (also called Noodle) and my Dad Bill (H.E. Rogers). My mom had the "Pastime" in Grandview. Later we moved to Toppenish and they had the Brunswick until they divorced probably by 1960. We are all Rogers.
