I read somewhere that Hamill sung high bass when he first started as a teen singing in church. Pretty hard to believe considering how high he can get. He had tremendous range.

One of the most underrated groups ever. That Jim Hamill, what a jewel & London Paris can hold his own ,I believe even with the immortal.. dare I to utter his name the GREAT J.D.SUMNER himself...there, I said it. What enjoyment you have brought to so many by caring & sharing. I rip my shirt open at the breast bone and bow to give thanks for the latest edition.
