I saw the solar flashlight on another channel and commented that I would like to see the flashlight head detach from the solar-cell, battery unit so that the power source could power a room lamp, a radio or maybe a sonic mosquito repellant device. Basically I believe the power source should be modular.

Response from Mark Bent: Dear Oregon Darryl, I fully agree with the concept of using the power stored in the batteries for other uses - please check back on our web page in the coming months, as we add a plug for energy in/out. In this manner, we can use the energy for other devices and if needed, add a second solar panel to charge the batteries faster. Right now, the light is designed to light a room, so no need for modification in this area. Thanks for your comment. Mark

Good words. But the reality is that this solutions are kept closed through the use of patents. Good people cooperate only with and for the people. Not for the elite.
