He has all this incredible luck through is life, getting drafted as a kid getting a big check. Then is incredibly lucky to find a brilliant kid who builds a winning team for him. He does nothing great but continue to be fearful, depressed, and cowardly to never take advantage of his luck.. The movie is weak and pathetic throughout from Beanes perspective, and we are supposed to feel sorry for this lucky piece of sht that accomplishes nothing. One of the worst scripts I've ever seen..

@big182fan Im a fan of movies, I hate ballet but Black Swan was really good.. If a baseball movie is rated 95% I'm going to watch at and expect to enjoy it, but this movie was terrible.. Yea baseball in very boring to me, but their really wasn't even any baseball in it.. Beane gave the worst locker room speech I've ever seen in all of sports movies, and he accomplishes nothing in his life because hes a depressed, scared, dumb loser who cant even watch his own team play..

I understand how the movie can be boring to the average movie-watcher. I'm a huge baseball fan, so I loved the movie, but it's just that the movie has a lot of detailed talk about baseball.So the people that say it's boring are just saying that because the baseball talk doesn't interest them. Great movie though Brad Pitt was amazing
