Eritrean Women Voice for Peace & Justice in Eritrea

A seminar organised by the PFDJs European-Eritrean National Womens Union planned for September 27, 2008 at the London Irish centre has been cancelled by administration of the centre as its mission has been contradictory to the principles of the Irish Centre; which is promoting peace and democracy.

Irish Centre took the decision after a careful examination of the pleas by vigorous Eritreans in London & suburbs: the new Eritrean womens union, civic societies and members of opposition political organisations, concerned individuals who campaigned to stop the event that has been designed to promote and glamorise the untie-peace and democracy, dictatorial regime in Eritrea.

This is a clear message to all PFDJ apparatuses and their members that they will not be welcomed in venues where peace and democratic attitudes blossoms.
