Ron Baggerman & Wim den Herder playing an improvised Jazz-Blues at the BADCUYP ( badcuyp dot nl) in AMSTERDAM/HOLLAND the 22nd of June 2011 during a concert of the great guitarist WIM DEN HERDER, together with other invited Dutch master acoustic guitarists like Lars de Rijck, Sietsze Bouma & Jeff Heijne.
Ron plays the Ziggy 12-string Tapguitar which has 6 bass-strings (in 5ths going up from a low C) and 6 guitar-strings (in 4ths going down from a D, which is a wholetone below the high e-string of a guitar)
The Ziggy is designed by Siggy Ambramzik from Germany and is produced by Music-Marketing from Worms (Germany). Ron is a representative for this instrument and can take orders from all over the world. The price of a standard Ziggy starts around 1.200 euro. Check Ron's site for more details : www galaxygypsy nl
Ron started out 30 years ago on the Chapman Stick (which shares the same tuning and playing technique) & is considered one of the very best players of this kind of tapping instruments in the world. Ron performs & teaches this instrument internationally and has played many venues, among them the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Wim de Herder is one of Hollands best guitarists these days. Check his site www wimdenherder nl
