@splndrndgrs I don't know the musical for the old movie, but Tchakovsky's 5th Symphony is alive and vibrant and is very good in the opening
-
projection of dialogue is almost as bad as dialogue in really bad porno's

Oh dear it's so sad, the art direction is so beautiful. The acting is like an infomercial.

can any one tell me the name of the music to this film and there was also written lyrics, i think it was called 'How Soon'. written much later. i would dearly love to hear both scores.

yuck this stinks!!You can tell they are just reciting lines with no feelings what so ever.

Mark-great job directing this! Being familiar with James and this novel in particular I feel that you captured the spirit of one of the most import scenes in the book. This time-frame-experience put me back in that period. My compliments.
Heavens to Murgatroid! KUDOS to all those involved! Being a huge fan of the short novel "Washington Square" and the classic '49 film version, I was especially excited about viewing this video for the first time today. I enjoyed it VERY much! Well done, everyone! THANKS for posting it! CHEERS! :-)
