@FBobby Exactly correct. There has been this kind of destruction of machines all season in Continental Tires racing...it seems the rich teams can afford to repair and replace cars, so they can win simply by being able to tear up the cars of the less wealthy teams until they run them out of money. As you said, hard racing is fine, but these folks are now simply driving into the side of each other for no obvious gain except to break each others budget.
At 1;15, WHAT the hell was that all about? Was the idea just to let the car up front stop him....because he had no hope of stopping himself for the corner otherwise,,,
I love these race review films because they are great quality to match the great racing, and you leave the natural sound in, it's like being there without dummas commentators inanely waffling over the top (and US coverage gets better commentators than we do in Europe, BBC excepted).
So i wonder how many penalties were handed out for Avoidable contact. I'm all for good hard racing, but these guys were driving like it was Days of Thunder and smashing each other all over the track. NOT cool, especially with some of these NON factory backed teams who dont have the money to be replacing cars this early in the season.
I just love road racing and at Road America you cant beat that. I had to miss the Friday's Continental race due to frickin work DAMNIT. Looks like I missed some good action. Well not gonna miss it next year I tell ya that!!! Got to see the Rolex series tho on Saturday :)
@gurlsingerfan this isnt the first time that exact same car did that, again as recently.
