I was at this game. It was "big time" for Northwestern, a non-powerhouse team. We ceased being the doormat of the Big Ten that year, and won the title.
I remember the cold temps, wind, and the news of Yitzhak Rabin's assassination that day.

Me too, what a team...i was at this game. One of the greatest football games I've ever seen. I was 10 years old and am still a Northwestern fan to this day because of this season. Best Defense Ever?
